Travel time from Benar Cottages: 2 minutes

This is a great activity not just because of the zip-lining, climbing and boating but because you will get a sense of what it must have been like to work underground in one of the many slate mines that North Wales is so famous for.

The base for Go Below is just up the road from us here at Benar Cottages. You can walk or drive there, have a coffee at the cafe and then get suited and booted ready for your underground adventure. This is a perfect all-weather activity because the temperature remains pretty constant – and it definitely won’t rain underground!
